Various stupid things Simon has done:

  GLASS WALKING

Walking barefoot over a twenty foot bed of razor sharp broken glass.  The glass bed was made from over one thousand
broken wine and beer bottles.

How is this possible?  Now that is a secret!

ICE DIVING

Simon's first ever scuba dive - under the ice of a frozen lake.

"Was it cold?" people often ask.

"No," says Simon.  "It was ******* cold!"

THE THREE PEAKS CHALLENGE

The challenge is to climb the highest mountain in Scotland
(Ben Nevis) , the highest mountain in England (Scafell Pike)
and the highest moutain in Wales (Mount Snowdon) and travel the 500 miles between them in under 24 hours...

We started at 9am at the foot of Ben Nevis in the blazing sunshine and then 3 hours later we were in a snow storm at the summit!

3 Peaks Ben Nevis

And then we had to climb all the way back down again and drive from Scotland to England to tackle Scafell Pike.
Here we are halfway up!

3 Peaks ScaFell Pike

And the we travelled through the night and started our ascent of Mount Snowdon in the early hours of the morning - in the pouring rain!  Here we are at about 5am at the summit of Mount Snowdon.

Then it was the long walk back down Mount Snowdon
during which we explored "alternative descent options"
(some negative people call this getting lost!) and then a
well deserved breakfast before the long drive home.
